a challenge among a few friends...we were given this paper and images. i cut out the drums and used a craft knife to cut out the zigzags on the larger drum which was then backed with the dp. i had to do it this way because the images were already stamped for me (if i were doing it myself, i would just stamp directly on the dp and cut out the whole drum...sure would be a lot easier). the drums are adhered to the sentiment with pop dots, then i drew in the stands, etc.
the large musical notes (inkadinkado) are embossed and both they and the sentiment panel are on pop dots too. thanks for looking!

This is just great! I am a former musician and I always look at those sets but they seem cheezy... This is super classy and totally sounds like a bossa nova! Cheery!

OMG! I can't believe you cut the zigzags out! But wow, I am so glad you did cuz look how fun this is! It is wonderful and I love your shiney notes! It's just awesome and once again...you are an arteest...drawing that stuff in!

I love how you added the dp to the drums and popped them up and out of the main image....very creative and it gives it an awesome look!! The notes rock too Deb!! You did an awesome job with this image, and awesome job!!

This is one classy jazz card, Deb! I love the embossed notes and how you cut out the drums to make them pop and THEN going so far as to cut out those tiny zig zags to back them with the wonderful dp. Your card is top-notch classy!
