This is my card for the most recent CC. We were to use Bordering Blue (a color I rarely use), Mellow Moss and Not Quite Navy. An optional color was Always Artichoke and I used to mat my hortizonal piece just to help make it pop a bit more. This piece is stamped with the various images from LAT to give it a collage look. I used my corner rounder on the sentiment tab to soften that. The vertical piece with the pine tree is up on dimensionals. I stamped the tree part in Mellow Moss and used my choc. chip marker to color the trunk and I used my nqn marker to just the ends of the tree for a Blue Spruce effect. The small leaf and pinecone is also on dimensionals. I used the Rough Around the Edges wheel on the base card in my triple 3 BG color with the main colors.
And Julie was right about these manly colors so I made this with my step-father in mind for his birthday in October.
Thanks Julie for choosing great colors and TFL!!!
