I did this for a friend who needed a wedding card. I love Soft Sky, and paired with silver seems so elegant to me. I finally found this cuttlebug plate, and after I embossed it, I rubbed a versamark pad over it, and embossed it in silver. I did have to scrape some of the background off, because otherwise it would have been too much silver in the flat spaces.
I then stamped the floral image in Blue Bayou, and stamped off twice lightly, then stamped on with the Soft sky. I wanted just a little darker image. I used a versamark pen to highlight the flowers, and embossed in dazzling diamonds for some sparkle. Unfortunately you can't see it.
Then I stamped the sentiment in versamark, and embossed it in silver.
I used the circle outline from Papertreyink,.. love that! and then embossed that in clear emboss by stamping on the color to the stamp, then stamping it into the versamark pad, back into the color, and then onto the page. I have one versamark specifically for this because it kind of wrecks the pad...hee hee!
I rolled the edges of the scallop across my versamark pad, and then embossed it in silver, I just felt it needed some finishing on the edges.
I tied my ribbon and organza around the card, and then used dimensionals to pop up the scalloped image.
