It may be difficult to explain in words, but here it goes. You punch 2 circles (using 1/8" punch) where you would like the center of the bow to be & then you punch one above that & one below that (so they are in sort of a diamond in relation to each other). Then you put your ribbon through the side-by-side holes & the tails are in the back. Be sure to pull through as much ribbon for as wide as you want your loops to be. Finally, pull 1 tail through each of the vertical holes and then tie them in a knot while holding the loop piece in place. I'm more of a visual person, so I hope this is understandable.
