I have long admired the beautiful creations of DawnL and Lacyquilter when it comes to the Roses in Winter set. I finally broke down and purchased it and have been trying to finesse the technique. I thought today's monochromatic challenge would be a good day to try and work with this stamp set. After I stamped the roses, I masked them and stamped the Aida Cloth in Bashful Blue and the French Script in Night of Navy on the bg.
Thanks Dawn for your very helpful tips!

Beautiful card, Charlene! I haven't even mounted my RIW set yet (just got it at end of June) but this is definitely inspiring me to do it! Beautiful colors - I love the script too!!! Lovely work!

Charlene...you let me down! You didn't put any embellishments on yours! Eh!thel did but then did a remake! Now I am alone! Okay, this card is just about the most wonderful card! I love the color, my favorite, and I love how you managed to put a background behind the roses. It truly is beautiful. Maybe you are smarter than me in following challenge instructions!
