This is for the WT122 challenge to concentrate on corners. I just got this adorable Boatloads of Love set and had to use it for this challenge. I wanted to pull the eye to the left corner so I sketched the piling as far over as I could get it so I could tie both boats to it and have their noses pointed directly to the corner. I stamped the little row boat and then masked so I could put the big boat behind it. I used a dry brush to apply bordering blue for the water and celery for the grassy along the shore line. I painted the boats with reinkers and a watercolor brush. I cut a second row boat to cover up a minor mess up and then popped it over the first one. The row boat then looked like it was haning out of the water so I sketched another little water line and cut it out so I could pop it over the row boat. Whew!!! I'm gettin' tired. I sketched a little more water line to add to the big boat line and then one more to appear behind it. I used my minis fern stamp to fill in the grassy area and a scalloped punch of post-it (thansk Cindy) for a cloud template for the sky. I was inspired today by Dawn L's use of her corner punch and since I just got mine I had to use it as well in the upper left corner. I am going to love this adorable set.
