After seeing the scratch and sniff article in Stampin' Success, I couldn't wait to dive in and play! This is the card we're making at a workshop I'm doing next week. I wanted to make the card pictured in SS but had the DARNDEST time getting the pink cake to look good with ANY pink or red mix and a Versa Mark pad. I only have a few craft pads, so I made a card using Rose Red craft ink as a base instead. I ended up using strawberry Jello. SOOO wish I had more craft pads because this technique far easier to get the color I wanted than trying to find just the right drink mix. The powder color just has to be in the ballpark, not a match. My house sure smells good now. :)
The Rose Red strip is stamped with the chunky stripe from the party details stamp.
I can't decide if I want to add something else or not. I'm a die hard ribbon gal and if we still had 1/4" Chocolate Chip ribbon, I'd tie that around the top. Oh well, sometimes I get carried away adding stuff so maybe I should just keep it simple! TFL!
