This is the other box I store my UM stamps in. It is a clear stamps storage kit from My Sentiments Exactly. Normally this retails for $16 but some places sell it regularly for ~$4. The kit is sized to store MSE's sets of photopolymer stamps, and comes with ten coated cardboard dividers. I cut sheets of magnetic photo album pages down to be the same size as the dividers (minus the tabs) and store even non-MSE stamps in here.
I have a lot of single stamps as well as quite a few stamp sets. When I was deciding what category to put a set under, I generally kept the set together. For example, all four stamps in the set Nature's Wonders is filed under Nature/Floral even though there is a dragonfly stamp in that set which, if it was a single stamp, would be filed under Insects. But, a counterexample is a cheapie rubber foam-mounted set I got from Mikes that had some star shapes, a crown, some wiggly lines, etc. I put the crown under Objects with my other crowns (yes I have several crown stamps ), the star shapes under Celestial, wiggly lines under Decorative Elements, etc.
I should also mention that in addition to EZ Mount, I have used Alene's Tack it Over and Over on bare rubber. It worked well enough, but I found it a bit of a hassle so I just splurged and got a pack of EZ Mount to put all my stamps on. I've also tried vinyl window cling material that cbet so kindly RAKed to me; I found the cling stuck well to the acrylic handle, but woudln't stick to CD cases or storage sheets.
And part of my reason is that if all the stamps in those two little boxes on 1/3 of one shelf were mounted on wood blocks, the stamps would pretty much fill this whole shelving unit by themselves and I would find it very unpleasant to browse through them.

i tried using the photo album sheets but had problems - they "cover" of the album sheet wanted to pull up when I wanted to take a stamp off. How did you get yours to work for you?
