Thinking the train needed a background, I used the Fossil Stone technique on Whisper White paper. Cool Caribbean, Bashful Blue for the sky, Wild Wasabi and Certainly Celery for the ground. I made a bunch of these backgrounds, then thought that maybe I should mask the train. So I did that on the top one, but forgot to mask the caboose!!! Ugh. After coloring it, I realized that I don't mind the background showing through and prefer to not have the white aura around the train.
So I stamped the second panel with the tiger and giraffe cars. All pieces of the train are colored with markers - Tempting Turquoise, Real Red and Yo Yo Yellow. Smoke was stamped with Going Gray and then overstamped with White craft and embossed with white ep.
Pocket card made from Tempting Turquoise and the corners are rounded with my CM corner rounder. Images are layered on Real Red.
Brads on all the wheels. Not doing that piece again!
On the back of the engine insert is the "You're invited" and the info about the party (I hope people would think to turn it over).
