For today's Try a New Technique Challenge, TLC125 - Tapestry of Life. I can't remember the last time I did a New Technique Challenge -- what fun!
I had some scraps of Crate Paper and fibers laying around after last week, so thatÂ’s what I used to make this card. The edges were distressed using a pair of craft scissors, all the panels were sewn together on the sewing machine, and the image panel is raised on mounting tape.

Wow that is some note! Gorgeous fibers, with these fabulous colors, love your detail, the sewing, the brads, and all the layers, with the shine of this technique, this is fantastic.
