For the background tapestry technique I used perfect plum, pale plum and mellow moss. I stamped the flower in craft white and covered with clear embossing. I also covered the sentiment with clear powder to give it the same shine. The butterflies are popped up a bit. You can't really tell from the picture, but I also inked the edges of each panel with the like color craft ink.
I was having a very hard time getting a good picture, it was either way too dark without the flash and the flash washed it out too much. Finally, my wonderful DH told me to use the flash, back up a bit, zoom in and that will help with the flash against the shine. He was right!! (I knew I was keeping him around for something).

Like your card says....wonderful. The 'popped' up butterflies add a lot of dimension and the inking of the edges adds a soft effect. Great job on the challenge!

Gorgoeus card, love the layout and colors! The butterflies look great!
Had to edit: I thought the same thing when I saw your card, guess we were on the same wave length tonight!

Connie, your bold butterflies and especially the background are beautiful. Lovely job on the challenge.
Now I need to go and try it out.
