This is for the FS23 and our honored inspiration person today is one of my most favorite friends and artists on this site. Who doesn't love Cindy!!!! aka Mothermark...She gives us the cutest and most wonderful cards and along with it she gives us the best stories to boot. Sometimes I sit and belly laugh at how she describes how she got from where she began to where she finished and have to wipe my eyes of laughing tears. Cindy was my pick for one of the new Dirty Girls this month. I just felt it in my bones that she was in....and I know it won't be long.
Here is Cindy's card....that she did for another FS challenge when Kendra was our artist. FS07 IN HOG HEAVEN! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers I loved her pigs and thought it was one of the cutest things I had ever seen. I picked my Bow Wow and Meow Meow sets to try and duplicate her adorable layout. I have to take a little side step here and say that I had so badly hoped that we would have adorable dog and cat sets in the new catalog that wold even come close to these darling sets. It didn't happen in my humble opinion. So I'll just keep turning to my retired sets and not using them in workshops. The images are simply stamped and masked to create the pile o' pets. I painted everyone with watercolor brushes and reinkers. I used a tiny amount of my very, very hoarded retired cranberry SU grosgrain for this. I decided to make most of the cat bows the same color red so I could pull that color out for the ribbon embellishment. Well actually, I would love for you to think I could think that far ahead but I can't. I dug through the ribbons until I found one I was really happy with and stuck it on. I acutally had chosen mustard gingham to use but it just didn't do it for me.
Thanks Cindy for all your wonderful inspiration and for all your lovely community spirit. Thanks Beth for picking such a fine artist this week.

Kittie! The work you put into your cards is just incredible. I absolutely love this card...Your caring and thoughtful characteristic shows on this card in that you put a doggie with a kittie up top so we have no lonely little animals. I love your pile of fluff, your pile of fur! It is just adorable and I am so appreciative of your kind words. I think the dirt pile might be a stretch, but thanks for the vote of confidence...and if it happens I am sure you will be there already! Happy Sunday! Thanks!
