I actually made 2 cards for todays inspiration challenge to create a card based on the sample gift box seen here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I made the Nativity one first and the scene took up so much of the background that I thought came out really well - I made another with the Noel Tree stamp so you could see more of it!
I clear embossed the circles and snow flakes - then sponged over the card with Sage Shadow. Then I stamped the everygreen branch with burgandy.
I put diamond stickles on the candle flame and around Jesus head - but they don't show up in the pic so well.
The panels are up on foam adhesives.
I'm going to make more of these to use as my Christmas cards this year!
Thanks Karen for this great challenge!

The Old World style of the Nativity is just delightful!! And I love the Noel one, because it is French! AND I love how you used the star brads in both!!! The backgrounds are lovely too, and reminded me instantly of the inspiration challenge for today!

You've got the inspiration right on with the background in both cards - really lovely! I especially love the nativity scene - isn't that what Christmas is all about!

I really love both of these, but I think the Noel Tree is my favorite ... I love the simplicity of that image combined with the complex background ... just gorgeous.
