Here is my card for IC84. When I saw the Christmas box it inspired me to finally do the Christmas cards I promise my DH I would donate to a fundraiser we are part of. The colors in the box seemed to work for what I needed.
Every layer of this card is distressed and sponged with creamy caramel, I even inked the twill tape a little. The sentiment is up on dimensionals.
Okay, so the cards (12 of them) are going to be part of a Southwest Christmas set for a Silent Auction, which includes a SW nativity scene. I am not sure what I think of this card, I guess I can not tell if it is missing something or not. I do, however, LOVE the jumbo eyelets!!!!!! If you have any suggestions I would love to hear it (but please remember that I have to do 12 of them in less then a week).

I think it is gorgeous Connie. I love the distressing, sponging and the colors. Maybe a subtle background stamp or some of the stars stamped on the folded card? Honestly though, I think it is fine as is!

Beautiful Connie! These will be really nice for the auction. I would say that if you want to add anything, perhaps a subtle star background on the base cardstock -- do you have any stars that match the ones in the scene? Or like the ones in Background Basics? Even Crosshatch might look ok. But really -- this looks very nice!!

How wonderful of you to make such a great donation. The thing that is so cool about this card is the background. It just looks like your main images is sitting on a sand dune in the middle of the desert. Very, very cool!

Connie, I think that you City of David is perfect! I wasn't to sure about this stamp set, but as I see more creativity with it I am falling in love with it. A great job done and a wonderful donation for the silent auction.
