These are my first dominoes. Both were bleached first. The one on the left was stamped with Black Stazon and colored in with Twinkling H20's, then pressed onto a Versamark pad and embossed with clear EP. The other domino was stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold EP, then colored in with Pearl Ex using a waterbrush filled with Future Floor Finish. It reminds me of Cloissone. I haven't sealed that one yet - not sure whether I want it glossy or matte finish. Both were painted on the sides with the Krylon gold leafing pen.

Hi qcbetty - Thanks! I just took a mayonnaise jar, put in several dominoes and then poured in the bleach until they were just covered. Although some people recommended only two hours was necessary for the bleach to work its magic, I got better results by letting them sit overnight. Then, I just dump out the bleach and rinse them really well while they're still in the jar until I can't smell the bleach anymore, pat them dry with paper towels and they're smooth and ready to go. Tip: It's best to try and stack/arrange them in such a way that the dot sides are not resting against any of the smooth sides so as not to create a "domino dot shadow." That was easy to fix by just re-bleaching them, so it wasn't a horrible mishap, just a delay. Linda

I am in awe... I wish I could learn the coloring technique for the pansy. I can never get the natural look like you have achieved. The embossed cloisonne is pricless, now that is art!!!!!
