 | | Here is my submission for today's Featured Stamper Challenge. Congratulations to charmwarm (Charmaine) on being selected!!
I have one of those $1 Michael's stamps that says "charmed, I'm sure!" (like Beth's title for this challenge) and I almost used that, but decided on CASEing this card instead. It caught my eye right away in Charmaine's gallery because of its simplistic and elegant beauty:
SC120 Aquatic Flowers by CharmWarm at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the colors and the sentiment, added a patterned paper (keeping the whole panel, rather than the three in her card) and moved the ribbon. I kept the same images, because I have been chicken to try acrylic stamping and I had this set - never opened! Acrylics are different than wood, for sure! I am still learning! I used rhinestones instead of brads in the flower centers. The front panel is slit and the ribbon is threaded through the back and tied in front. I heated the ribbon with my heat gun to curl it up a bit.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day! |
