My grandfather passed away this morning, and this is the card I made my grandmother. I just wanted to write her a not and tell her I love her, as we won't go down for the funeral until Friday. I'm so sad that I couldn't think of anything else to do but stamp - it made me feel a bit better.
I used a sponge dauber to add Interference Violet Pearl Ex to the Confetti White panel, after running it through the Cuttlebug and swiping it with a Versamark pad. Then I wiped it with a swiffer cloth and sprayed it with acrylic sealer. It is hard to see the sheen in the pic, but irl it is gorgeous.
The sentiment is on vellum cardstock, and the circle-thingy is on another piece, but cutout. I wanted the card to not be too sympathy-ish, kwim?

This is such a beautiful card -- I am sure it will help to make your grandmother feel a bit better -- I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather -- blessings to you all.

Never would have thought of combining the texture over the stamping, but love the effect. Hope it gives your grandma a little smile during sad times. My condolences to you and your family.
