A couple weeks back one of my SCS friends, Cindy (aka Mothermark), posted a bright cheerful card which was made for a little girl named Julianna. JuliannaÂ’s story can be found in the *Need a Lift* forum. Here is the link: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
On Wednesday I began making this cardÂ… On Thursday I tossed that one out and started again Â…. Friday I just stared at it Â… then this morning it all clicked. My problem was I was trying to make an elegant card for a six year old girl. *what can I say; IÂ’m blonde* I tossed out everything I did since Wednesday, dug out Big Blooms; and stamped and cut out everything. I pulled out Stickles, bling (brads and crystals), buttons, glitter and ribbon. I even found a button butterfly to put in the top right corner. I threw everything on this card. It may be gaudy to me, but to a little girl this thing will be bright and sparkly with multiple textures to touch and gaze at; everything a little girl likes. I truly hope this card puts a smile on her face.

Carole! It is absolutely adorable...it is perfect beyond perfect for a 6 year old. Holy cow girl, look at the embellishments here....you did so so good....And I have to tell you, if you left just one of them off it would just not be the same. How fun that you put Julanna's name on it. She is gonna be so excited when she gets this....it just rocks....
