I was trying to make something quick and easy because I need to finish painting a room today. This was my third attempt at a card; things just aren't clicking for me today, I guess. I love the ornament as the inspiration piece today and drew on the colors, the ornament, and the square shapes. I don't know what possessed me to add those little jewelry beads. I'm not real happy with my card, but the one thing I do love about it is the rock and roll technique I used on the ornament itself. I first stamped it in Gable Green, then Tempting Turquoise, and then rolled the outer edges in Brilliant Blue.

Wow, your ornament is so impressive.....I think you are just in painting mode and not card making mode because this card rocks and deserves to be liked by you! I love it....It's very cool and I can see the inspiration piece totally, it's even an ornament!
I love how you are always trying new and different techniques! The only time I have ever done anything remotely similar to this is when I accidently dropped my stamp in a foreign stamp pad and didn't even realize it! LOL! Great card.....back to painting, just remember your task is so worth it!

Wow! This is wonderful! Great colors and I love how you used the rock 'n roll technique on the ornament. The beads that the ornament is hanging from is so unexpected, but a fabulous idea!! TFS! It's beautiful!
