This is for the LSC123 to case a card out fo the new catalog. I chose the card on page 53 that uses the Boatloads of Love. I don't have that set *yet* but I loved the layout and the use of the striped dp. I pulled out my favorite Loads of Love truck and created a little wagon being pulled bu the truck to represent the little tug boat. The image placement is ver similar to the card on 52 but I didn't like that layout as well.
This is my first attempt to crate a complete scene using my new Copic Markers. I really love them but will never be able to give up my paint brush and reinkers full time. I need to work with these lots more to get more comfortable with them. The colors of these markers is very vibrant and I have to learn not to get too heavy handed. Same problem I have with reinkers.
I must say that I had to work really hard to add all the embellishments as I usually don't do this much. It is a fun card but I feel I could have painted two full scenes in the same time it took to figure out all the layers. I know....you think I'm wierd!!!

Not weird Kittie......a talented and creative soul who is gifted with brush and inks. the differences in our creative souls are what make each and every one of us unique. I especially liked using the truck bed as a wagon or trailer; have never seen that done before. It adds more focus and connotations (cognitive depth) to the picture. have a Happy........

This is so cute, Kittie -- I just love your vibrant colors -- you may not have felt comfortable with those new markers -- but you sure did good -- LOL!!!
