It has been ages since I've completed a challenge or uploaded a card. We are finally getting settled after a big home construction project and the addition of Zu-Zu (my avatar) to the family. I had time yesterday to stamp, saw the color challenge and had to do it! they are my fav colors! This is also the sketch challenge for the week, So here's my try.
I sponged creamy caramel over the pink & green plaid dp to soften it up, the other dp is from the BG Perhpas line. I also popped up a few of the flowers with Startdust Stickles in the dogwood centers. I colored the flowers with Prismacolor pencils and the blender pencil which I'm not very good at! The HH sentiment is on a Cuttlebug slider that I cut down, it's hiding an oops! I started to sponge Choc. chip and it looked awful! I never did manage to get much CC on this card. The dogwood stamp (dogwood not magnolia right?) came from my local Amish stamp store and has no manufacturing info at all but I'm always happy to stamp images if you like. TFL!
