The challenge is to use ribbon in our card creation. I donÂ’t like the thickness of grosgrain so I found a new way to use it and avoid the bulk.
I did a little ink distressing on the star paper and image panel.
The image panel is on semi glossy paper and colored with re inkers and sponged with pad ink for the sky and grass. Then with a wet 3/8” artist brush I pulled the strokes away from the moon and gave it a glowing effect. I don’t know why I tried that but I like the results. I also used the brush on the grass to give a more watercolor look after sponging. The stars are stamped on with what was a dot in an image and that’s all I kept of it.
The ribbon is pulled through the eyelet and taped to the back then the gingham is tied on.

Okay, hope your card doesn't bring out the crazy people tonight because it definately is a wonderful, glowing, beautiful full moon and you know what happens when a full moon is out! It's wonderful, I love it! They look so content. They are probabaly discussing their wedding plans.
