Julia's challenge today was to use ribbon, but try to put a twist on it!
Well, this doesn't have much of a twist, but at least I used ribbon!! I don't use it nearly enough!!!
I started on this card a while ago and I'm still trying to figure out the perfect colors for her (this is NOT it), but I don't totally hate it so I decided to use it!
Thanks for all your condolences yesterday regarding the Coffee Issue!! It seems as though I may have misled you, however! My coffee maker DID NOT die!! She is merely a little ill, so my coffee came a little late! She needed to be restarted 3 times before it was done, so I finished my card before I got a cup! (She is upstairs, Happy Room is downstairs and I should probably install one in my Happy room to save time!!) Anyhoo, I chose to wait it out this morning before coming down to start on the challenge, so, yes, I've had my coffee! I am now off to make a get well soon card for my sweet little appliance, although I fear it may be terminal! Thanks again for your warm thoughts!
thanks for checkin' out my card!!

Okay, here is the deal.....you should have many, many, many coffee pot back ups. You should have a pot brewing in every room, do a load of laundry, pour a cup, vacuum the living room, pour a cup, jump out of the shower, pour a cup, harrass hubby for staying out in the garage too long, pour a cup, put the lawnmower in the shed, pour a cup...Get the picture! This is important stuff here! Not to be taken lightly. Best wishes to your coffee pot...I am sending happy thoughts, prayers, and get well wishes!
Okay, the card..got off on a little tangent there.....
I love that her wings and your embellishments are exactly matched. She is a really fun image and I know you will have lots of fun with her...I can see a twist in your ribbon, honest I can! It's a lovely card!
