This is my third and final ATC design for a swap I'm in, and this one was definitely the most labor intensive. Thanks heavens for the person who invented the Stamp-a-Majig!!
I grew up thinking Princess Diana was just the coolest, luckiest gal in the world -- I still remember that summer of excitement surrounding her wedding when I was 10 years old. My mom used to buy me books and magazines about her whenever she ran across one. I still have one or two of them laying around somewhere. All of the recent media about the Concert for Diana (oh, how I used to {heart} Duran Duran... *sigh*) must have seeped into my head, because when I looked at my stamps to see which I wanted to use for this last ATC, this little sheep just begged for me to create something like Diana's famous black sheep sweater. So I did! (And for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, see the blurry photo in the background of Diana taken at a Polo match in 1983 wearing said garment.)
The sheep were stamped in VersaMark on Real Red using the blessed Stamp-A-Majig to line them up, then heat embossed with black embossing powder. The white sheep were colored in with a white Signo gel pen, and the lone 'black sheep' is colored in with a silver metallic Sharpie (black didn't look right because it was too indistinguishable from the ep). The silver looks darker IRL.
Thanks for looking!!
