Because of the red buckle that is a pop can tab I am adding to the challenge
I did these trying to use the stamps I have. I have been coveting other stamps..so I am going to try and use each set before I buy anymore
I know many of the purists will not enjoy some of these because I have a fascination with using elements that would end up in the trash...so I tend to try and put recycled elements in my cards..just my thing. I also do not have a lot of SU cardstock so much of my paper is from LCS. But this is what I have come up with...I had fun.
For this one my reclaimed item is the red buckle..it is a pop tab that I painted with nail polish..I painted a paper clip as well and I think I am going to hang a sentiment off of it for my nieces birthday. She will like the pop tab

I love your recycling! I like to do the same thing. I'd love to hear about some more things you have used. I have gone to a local wallpaper store and got there old books. Great for background paper or I sometimes cut things out and use that with stamping. Thanks for the ideas. [email protected]

What a fun and cheery card! Thanks for giving such great detail on how you made the card; I was wondering how you spraypainted such a nice, glossy coating on the pop tab and had an Aha! moment when you said how you did it. Love how you angled the background layers here; [email protected]!!!!

That is a great idea - I don't think I would have known that came from a pop can. I may have to try that myself! Super cute card - love the layout too.
