my DH got this advertisement in the mail the other day and he was about to throw it out when I spied the cool stars and stripes with the sentiment!! so I snatched it and stashed it away for future use!
then several of my SCS sistahs and myself have this challenge between us going on which I already had my card done....well, I had to do another, right?! and especially after seeing Frances's card. I mean she lives down under and makes this cool USA card!!!
so....for today's TLC we were to use an 'unexpected' embellishment on our card. I wanted a firecracker but didn't have any=(
found this silver candle and wrapped ribbon around it. (works for me!)
and this pic turned out so much better than my other 'patriotic' card, guess I shoulda used the same setting! oh well...such is life and card making!
tfl;-)
