I couldn't get a perfect oval with a new Fiskars oval cutter, so I returned it, thinking I can cut out crooked ovals just fine on my own. Well, I was right. Here are some crooked ovals for DH.
I had an oval sticker, and this sticker had borders. I used vellum as tracing paper, and traced the sticker and its borders, and then cut out my traces. So now I have several ovals, good for layering too. But they are all crooked.

This card is adorable! I just love the gnomes! The Weathered BG is perfect and so is sponged ink on the paper.
And, I might not have even noticed the ovals if you hadn't told me!

I think the crooked ovals add to the charm of the card - and I too wouldn't have noticed until you pointed them out. Going into my favorites :-)
