I love the idea of a shoe box swap, but I decided to "shuffle" it up a bit with a monthly stamping group that I am with. I came up with a card, stamped and cut everything that we need to make the card, and then put each little card kit in a bag. Each member of our group had about one week to work on the card....they did NOT get to see my original one! I had a few rules: Use everything in the bag, at least some part of it. You can add a neutral paper, and one kind of embellishment (several of one kind, etc) and color however you choose. You could also use one more stamp, whether it be a word, or whatever, and stamp as many times as you need. We all brought our cards to the next meeting and it was quite fun to see how they turned out - we also tried to guess who made which one!
My original card is on the far left of the picture.
I cased someone here on split coast...colors and all...but I can't seem to find it now. Thanks for the inspiration!
