Sniff... sniff... buhoo... boo hoo hoo... a moment please...
Okay, I'm better now. he he he... Beth challenges us today with the Try a New Technique Challenge to create a LOOOOOOOONG card using some retired favs. Check out the challenge here Forums at Splitcoaststampers. Thanks, Beth! I love long cards! The size always throws off the recipient and then they are pleasantly surprised to see they've received a sweetly handmade card.
Okay, my little crying bit was over Roses in Winter. I am still SHOCKED to see it retire. It is one of my all time favs. For this card, I rock and rolled my base rose in More Mustard and Really Rust.
Also saying goodbye to the In Colors, Marigold Morning and True Thyme. Another fav of mine is ORGANDY and copper cord. What's with that?! I love crinkling my organdy with the heat tool.
So long to so many favorites! Makes me excited to see what's in the new catties!

Wow! This is stunning! Love the organdy with the copper cording, and the piercing....makes everything so elegant and ethereal. Ugh, I still want this set. Trying so hard not to buy retiring sets.
