So this week's inspiration piece was really just a jumping off point for me. Last night I saw the picture and thought I would use violet, cranberry and creamy caramel - colors in the picture - and the swirl from Stars and Swirls. Today I went shopping and got a package of transparencies. So I sat down to stamp and looked at the inspiration colors I had out, and thought, "hey those are similar to the colors in my Ranger Alcohol inks. I wonder if I could use those on a transparency and make a window?" And that is how this card was born. The alcohol ink was dabbed on the transparency, along with the sentiment. I cut the window out using my Creative Memories circle cutters. On the inside, I stamped and colored the image from Artfully Asian. I think maybe it would have looked better if I hadn't colored the image, but what can you do? I;ve found in stamping, I'm not a perfectionist! Thanks for inspiring me, Karen!

OK, waaaaay too pretty--what an awesome effect you achieved with the transparency, colors and the offset circle--terrific idea that sure paid off! GORGEOUS!
