Many many thanks to Mackbrad for suggesting this color combo to me!! I had the stamps and the layout already picked out, but I had a really difficult time thinking of a color combo...I just knew I wanted it to be kinda retro feeling and use Buckaroo Blue since I was trying to use a retiring In Color on each of the cards for my stamp club this month. I think this color combo fits the bill perfectly!
Even after I had the color scheme, I still had problems deciding how I wanted to do the cross pieces. I tried stamping the Simply Circles on each color of solid cardstock but nothing was really workin' for me....so I gave up and went to my old standby, emboss resist. I tried applying the color with sponge daubers but I decided I liked it better when I used sponges--the colors aren't as saturated and they blend together a little more than with the sponge daubers. For the main image, there's Crystal Effects on the tv screen which kind of made a little halo around the sentiment, but I'm just gonna say it's because the rabbit ears aren't quite tuned perfectly, that's what makes it a little fuzzy. There's an olive brad on the dial tuner knobby thing (it's a technical term) and I swiped the edges of the cardstock on my Old Olive ink pad. I managed to use three retiring stamp sets on one card!

Love it! I just got the Stay Tuned set- I've always had ideas in my head for this set, and now you've inspired me to get on with it! TFS
P.S. love the lil ' knob-thingy (Another technical term!) LOL
