My niece is graduating from high school on Sunday and I made this gift card holder for her, using the colors for this week’s color challenge. I cut a half sheet of Barely Banana cardstock, scored on 2” and 6”, & ran the top through my Cuttlebug using the Spots & Dots embossing folder. I added a strip of red, to which I had added four caramel eyelets with my Crop-a-dile. I cut out a square using scalloped scissors, then added my image, backed with Creamy Caramel. I had colored the kitty image with prismacolors and gamsol. I drew, colored and cut out the cap on cardstock, attaching it with small pieces of dimensionals. I made the tassel out of two strips of gold floss, tying it in the middle with one strip of floss, then folding that in half & tying it all together with another strip of floss. I then trimmed all to the same length. I glued it under the hat with half of a small glue dot.
The bottom part of the card is just stamped in continuous rows with the Congratulations sentiment. I hope my niece likes it. What do you think?
