This is another of my Great Finds for one dollar! I love these big stamps but I find theyÂ’re a challenge for me to color and this one was no different. First I tried to watercolor it but that didnÂ’t turn out the way I thought it should so then I thought about bleaching it. I think this technique worked better for me with this stamp.
I stamped the image with Versa mark and then heat embossed it with Black embossing powder. I bleached the inside of the bear image and the flowers. I colored in the flowers with markers. I used chocolate chip to stamp the image on and decided the background was to dark and the bear didnÂ’t show up so I bleached out the background and came in with my sponge and sponged several greens around the image.
EDIT: I knew there had to be a challenge for bleach and I just found it! Yeah!

Wow! This is gorgeous! Love how the bear turned out and how you punched the edges to create that look! I don't even know what kind of "look" you'd call it but it's better than great! Into my favs!

This is just gorgeous!!! Your embossing and bleaching worked out so well!!! I love the bear and the flowers in the foreground; I really like those corners too! Where did you get that corner punch??? What a lovely card!!!
