Watercolor crayons and mist bottle were used to create the floral panel; also the finger walking technique with the Linen background was used.
Finger walking: after the image is inked lay it rubber side up. Place the floral image panel on the rubber and walk your fingers over it to avoid a full coverage. I did make sure that all edges were inked. Last step was to ink distress the edges.
The cuttlebug swirls were sanded down using a sanding block then ink distressed so it coordinated better with the light beige cardstock. The purple paper is a white core paper. What is white core you asked: it is purple on both sides with white in the center.
Ribbon is tied first and tape to the back with single sided tape.
The gems are attached with Diamond Glaze; itÂ’s the same product as Stampin Ups Crystal Effects.
Tool distressing was done on the dark purple panels.

This is very pretty. You really had me going, though, with that "finger walking". Glad you explained it, I'da been all over the internet trying to find out what that is. n
