I wanted to make a smaller card to send with some flowers instead of using the little ''business card'' type that are at the florists. I was really hoping to achieve a simple/elegant look that wouldn't take away from the flowers.

You certainly achieved what you set out to do. This is fantastic! It will look perfect with the flowers, accenting rather than detracting.
