So, the other night I was thinking: There's a technique called Faux CloisonneÂ… but what is its "real" counterpart? I don't think I've heard of a "Cloisonne" technique apart from the "Faux" variety. So I thought about the idea a little bit more and here is what I came up with, the "Real" Cloisonne Technique...

Real cloissone is an age-old Chinese art technique using metal partitions and glass powder which is then fired in a kiln. Very elaborate and costly. THIS is fantastic, Nicole! I'm so excited to try this!
