This is my card for the TLC challenge today, which was to use faux tiles. I liked ltecler's* idea to use BasicGrey paper for the tiles, so I looked through my stash and cracked open my pack of Scarlett's Letter.
I used regular clear EP on the BG paper for lack of UTEE (durnit, I knew I should have gotten some). The flower (purchased from eclectic Paperie) is coloured with WWC, then Twinkling H20s. I made a little tag for the sentiment using my corner rounder punch. I cut the paper the right width (5/8"???) to go straight in and do the whole end instead of the corner. It needed a bit of scissor trimming, but I like that look and I'll be using it again. The card is 5" square.
I really like this card, but I think I'll save it for a special occasion. Not sure what, but it seems about right for sending best wishes to the madame of a house of ill-repute....or is that just me....

This card is gorgeous! I like how the tiles do not go all the way to the corner. It is good to know that regular EP works. I don't have the thick stuff either!
