This sketch is from pencillines.com. Love that site!
My 3 year old son is in to this cute little habit where he starts lots of sentences "When I'm 5..." The journaling reads:
"according to Jack, he will:
be a cashier, mow the lawn, try new food, go to kindergarten, play soccer, be bigger, and reach higher"
These are just a few of the MANY things he tells us he will do when he turns 5! The one that cracks me up the most is that he'll try new food. Yah right!
I got this color combo from a shirt that I bought today and then I later realized that I ended up having some scrap patterned paper to match! How convenient! The Heidi Swapp acrylic flowers and the chipboard are painted with acrylic paint. I also swiped some turquoise paint on the white flower.
I'm going to be in denial when Cool Caribbean retires.... =(

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

This page is great!! Oh I so remember when my little guy was on the '5' kick. Now that he is 7, he has moved on to 'When I'm 10...' You've inspired me to make a 10 pg

What a great page I love it. I love to scrap kid pages they always give you such great material and that is such a cute story. My daughter is 4 and she signs everything Tia 4. The other day she says to me "what a bummer!!! When I turn 5 I'm going to have to change my signing I don't think people are going to like that they really like Tia 4." They are all so funny!!! I am right with you on the Cool Caribbean. I have already begun mourning and stocking up!!!
