I made this for my DH's birthday this year. The Java and Green Tea textured cardstocks from Bazzil are supposed to look kind of like our back yard.
I punched out a giga circle from white cardstock and stamped the bbq, cooking tool, and smoke on it separately in black pigment ink. I coloured the bbq in a pinkish red, and the grass in green, using pencil crayons. I coloured in the smoke a little using my black i-kan-dee pebbles shimmer chalk.
Mounted the circle onto the green layer, drew a line around the edge of the circle, and doodled the border. Ticked punched the corners of the green layer, and added the handwritten sentiment "Smokin!" and doodled dots around that to make it stand out more. Inside I wrote, "Even after XX years, you're still smokin' hot!"
