I was thinking about cards for servicemen in Iraq to send home to their families when I came up with this one.
The background is SU Stipple Plaid with Black Versafine on red cardstock. The balloon was colored with a red watercolor crayon, than covered with Versamark ink & embossed with clear embossing powder with a little glitter added. The string was a piece of scrap trim I'd picked up at Walmart sometime ago - I glued it down with 2-way glue.
Please feel free to copy this and send as many as you can to our servicemen. If you don't have these stamps, I think it would work just as well with the Favorite Teddy and Flannel Plaid BG stamps from the current catalog.
For the next ones I make, I'm going to just cuttlebug one sheet and cut it into strips and stick the strips down to form a frame - it would be easier than cutting an opening in a larger piece and cuttlebugging that. Less paper waste, too.
