Thank you for your kind remarks.
When I use my Adirondack alcohol inks, I always use the dabber from Ranger and glossy white paper.
I put about ten drops of each color on the dabber and dab until the whole paper is covered in ink, leaving no white marks whatsoever. I re apply more ink as it dries out. I usually use colors that are quite similar, like some of the differend red'ish colors together. I then apply a stencil. This time a used a stencil from Heidi Swap. They are made of some plastic material and has got glue on one side, a nonstick glue. I then use som darker color on the dabber and dab all over the stencil. leaving a dark cloud around it. Remove the stencil. Then I stamp with versamark the text and emboss it with white emb. powder.
I alway use quite amount of ink to get this results. You get a completely diff. look of you apply less drops on the dabber.
If you use colurs that is on the complete opposite side of the colurswheel you can also get fantastic results but it will be a more "noisy" background making it difficult to spot the flower I had stenciled on. I use similar colors to make it more "quiet".
You have to use glossy paper to get this result.
Hope that this helped you!
