Just a close-up of the card (see other pic with coordinating gift in background).
I saw this Butterfly Kisses-like wrapping paper at Hobby Lobby the other day. It inspired me to make a coordinating card to go with the gift for a friend. The paper is rose red with pretty in pink flowers but when I tried to emboss pink flowers, they came out more white than pink. But overall, I like the look and hope the recipent will too. The hardest part was making those dang wire butterfly antennaes.
Also - I'd like honest suggestions/critique on if you think the "birthday wishes" part detracts or blends in with the card layout. If you don't like it - should I leave off the sentiment or use a smaller or different one? I'm sort of on the fence about it and wanted some feedback. Thanks!

What a glorious card! I favorited it. I love the colors and all the great details. I think the sentiment goes well. I like that you hid it a little behind the butterfly.

First of all, this is a gorgeous card! I just love the embossing and the raised butterflies (great antennae!!) It goes wonderfully well with the bag. I love to make matching pieces for gifts.
Secondly, I like the sentiment on there. It adds a nice touch. A slightly smaller sentiment might work too, but I like it like this!
