I just can't get a look I like here. I finally bagged it and thought 'the girls on SCS will tell me what's wrong with it!' I wanted to do a male grad card but it just isn't working for me!
What do you think?

I like the card, but agree it's missing something. I think it's too mature for a grad card though? I'd try to go with brighter happier colors and a fun theme?
This one is salvagable (sp) though. Round off the corners perhaps, add some manly ribbon (is there such a thing? lol).
It'll be interesting to see what others might have to say about this?

I agree you have a great base and I too think...it is salvagable...copying wenchie's spelling!!!!....and I think ribbon, yes manly ribbon!!! would be perfect.

I guess this is a little late but... I would have used Artichoke instead of Olive, Ink the image in chocolate chip onto vanilla and then mat it in chocolate chip. Try to get conGRADulations onto the bottom of the brown strip. Cool idea to get feedback from SCS'ers. (feel free to give your two bits about mine.)
