I am involved with a volunteer organization called Chemo Angels, which provides chemotherapy patients with gifts, cards and moral support. Well, their fundraiser is coming up, and they raffle off handmade items to raise money to keep the organization up and running. Previously, they raffled off several beautiful afghans and quilts, but I thought "wouldn't it be cool if they had some hand stamped cards to raffle off?" Fast forward a couple of months ... with the help of some tremendous generous ladies at splitcoaststampers.com, I have collected over 800 cards! I never dreamed that I would collect that many!
I'm ready to mail half the cards (400 cards!!) for use in the upcoming June fundraiser; hopefully, I will be able to send the other half of the cards later in the year. I'll be sure to let you know when they're up for bid. There are some amazing cards here! I took these pictures to give you an idea of the process (all of the cards are packaged in vinyl boxes and ribbon - much more time consuming that I anticipated) and space this project required. But all worthwhile!
