I taught the spotlight technique with this little card. It went over well and they loved the crystal effects that added enough shine without removing it from the masculine realm...
We re-stamped the image and sponged some colour on the spot we wanted to punch out using the circle punch. We put the crystal effects on the spotlight after we used a dimensional to adhere it to the card. The crystal effects caused the spotlight to "wilt" a little, but it straightened up when it was dry.
We did this project first so the crystal effects would have time to dry some before the ladies left for home. We laid them off to the side to dry flat so the CE wouldn't make the spotlight look like century old glass, although that would be a neat effect too --- hmmm, how to make that look cool and not like a boo-boo...

WoW! This is really pretty and a great masculine card. Did you cut out the colored image and put the crystal effects on it, then add it to the card when it was dry?
