When I came upon this Thankful Journal created by StamperSharon, http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...amp;perpage=48, I was smitten by the journal cover and knew I had to make something using this design. We had just returned from an autumn trip to NY to see my sister and her family, so I decided to make them a little album of our visit. I pretty much cased the cover, which inspired me to improvise on the rest of the album. These are my sisterís favorite colors and match her living room to a T. She and her family loved the album, which I sent them for Christmas. I kinda hated to give it away, but at least I have the photos! The album, made using a purchased board book, and quite fat after adding all the embellishments, tied closed with the ribbon. I painted it all first with a mishmash of various fall colors of brown, rust, gold and purple. Since I made this last fall, my memory as to supplies might not be too helpful, but Iíll give it a try!
