When I came upon this Thankful Journal created by StamperSharon, A Thankful Journal by StamperSharon at Splitcoaststampers, I was smitten by the journal cover and knew I had to made something using this design . We had just returned from an autumn trip to NY to see my sister and her family, so I decided to make them a little album of our visit. I pretty much cased the cover for this 6x6 blank board book, which inspired me to improvise on the rest of the album. These are my sisterÂ’s favorite colors and match her living room to a T. She and her family loved the album, which I sent them for Christmas. I kinda hated to give it away, but at least I have the photos! The album, made using a purchased board book, and quite fat after adding all the embellishments, tied closed with the ribbon. I painted it all first with a mishmash of various fall colors of brown, rust, gold and purple. Since I made this last fall, my memory as to supplies might not be too helpful, but IÂ’ll give it a try below!

mmm this is so pretty! The paper you've chosen is gorgeous. I have a thanks journal...plain and simple!!! Think I'm going to try and jazz it up a bit! Thanks for the inspiration...thanks to Sharon too!!
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
