This is my stamping room. My husband has made a lot of what's in here. He still has one more project for me, a desk with 2 and 3 inch drawers and enclosed shelves above for storage. The picture with the chair is my work bench. We made that kitchen counter height. I find that its the perfect height for stamping. The drawers are mainly 2 inches with the bottom one on each side deeper for storage. The chest has 2 inch drawers also. Hubby was pretty surprised at how fast I filled it up.

He's been really good about making things for me. Then he can have a reason to buy more woodworking tools. He never complains about my hobby, probably because his is "so expensive".

Your exactly right. I keep my non SU in there. The top two drawers are sentiments. Each drawer has a theme. I have the same type of drawers on each side of my work bench and they are supposed to be in the desk when he has time to make it. The SU stamps are easy to store on a shelf but if I didn't have so many stamps I could do the same with them in their cases. The idea for this came from like at map chests, and artist flat files.
