SC118 - First Bella for Shan
Photo Details
This is my first Bella card from an image I received from Lynn Parziale (Thanks, Lynn!!) I made this card for my DIL for Mother’s Day. This kind of looks like her and her two girls (I confess—I hid the third kid clinging to her leg that’s on the stamp under the teal flower, since I wanted it to look like her family! She informed me she owns an SUV not a mini-van, but hey, I thought I got it pretty close!!)
I colored the stamped image (mom, kids and van), then on watercolor paper cut a square the same width as the image, I drew and colored in the background stuff (sky, sun, birds, clouds.) I cut along the edge of the horizon line (bushes, etc.) and superimposed the stamped image over the watercolored image. I used liquid appliqué on the clouds. The sentiment is a computer font done in Word Art in MS Word to fill the circle shape. I added the white dots on the flower with a white gel pen.
