I took Paula (scrapbratmother)'s suggestion of putting our recipe swap cards into a flip book. This was featured in Family Fun's June 2007 issue. GREAT way to display the pretty recipes on a kitchen shelf!
Paula's directions which I followed:
**********************
"FLIP BOOKS!!!!"
What you do is punch two holes for the jump rings at the top. Use three pieces of cardboard. One for the backing, one for the front cover, and the third piece .... fold it....about one to one-and-a-half inches on each end.....then glue the two pieces (front cover and back cover) to the folded ends....
So, THEY WILL ACTUALLY STAND UP!!!!!!!
(In other words, from the side view.... it will look like a tent!) The BASE piece will be the third piece of cardboard folded up on each end.... attaching to the front cover and back cover.
I love this idea!!! It would be very economical & the recipes will STAND UP for easy cooking access!!!!!

Gorgeous ... innovative ... too cool!
Thanks for sharing (my DH does most of the cooking so this might have to be his birthday gift NEXT year - no way could I make the recipe mpages in time for Christmas!) It is going into my favorites!
